About Me!

Hi everyone!

This is my very first blog post about my journey to learn more about the field of Social Work.  Before I begin to express my thoughts and experiences on my journey, I would like to share a bit more about myself.

I am a 3rd year student at the University of Calgary.  While I am not taking a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), I am taking their Introduction to Social Work (SOWK 201) course to learn more about the profession. 

Throughout my blogging journey I am going to share about the material I am learning, while I am learning it.  Some posts may express how I am feeling towards the material, while others may express me putting the stuff I learn into action.  I hope to make this journey both fun and helpful for both myself and others that pass by this blog to help themselves and others around them! 

I am excited to start this journey and hope everyone reading enjoys hearing my experiences!
